"You Make Me Feel Alright" is a song about a relationship making the singer feel nothing but okay. A personal experience I have is that due to depression, emotions are dulled out, so a relationship with someone making me feel normal or alright, is a huge step towards healing and recovery - for a person without depression, this relationship may feel like everything is perfect and good.
What does it feel like to love? Well it can feel more than good. Great sometimes. Sometimes it's even perfect. Well, with depression, emotions can feel dull and drowned out. Love with depression can make you feel just alright.
